About Me
I built my first AM/FM radio receiver from a kit at the age of 8, and the passion for communications has stayed with me ever since. I joined the U.S. Navy out of High School as a Radioman (1995), eventually transitioning to Information Systems Technician (IT). I left the service as an IT1(SW) in 2005.
Today, I work as an associate professor and department chair of the School of Information Technology at a community college in Southeastern Indiana. I am also currently pursuing an Information Technology Ph.D. with a Cyber Engineering emphasis at the University of the Cumberlands. Go Patriots! When I'm not on the air, researching, or teaching, you can find me playing stringed instruments, hiking, fishing, hunting, computer gaming, or spending time with my wife, our children, and our new granddaughter.
