But not too different than the previous.
Today I was released from my calling as the 11 year old Boy Scout Leader and the Valiant 11/12 boys Primary Teacher.
I have made what I feel as a strong connection with each of these boys during the last almost 10 months. When I received the call this morning I was shocked, bewildered, and felt a little blind sided. But after I had sometime to think about it, I realized it was because I did such a good job with the 11 yo boys. Everyone says so, I think I just did the best I could do.
Today I was called as the Deacons Quorum Advisor, and the Scout Master.
I am humbled by this call. As I mentioned above I don’t think I did anything amazing with the 11 you boys patrol, but I must have made an impression. Plus having the newest member of the Bishopric’s youngest son in the patrol may have helped this calling along. I’ll have to step things up because there are even more boys for me to lead, set the example for, and mentor, and averyone one of them depending on me to make the right decisions.
I am thankful for this new challenge to rise too…
…maybe I can get more young radio amateurs out of this too!
