I am about to travel for business and I debating if I should take my Yaesu VX7R with me. I am already probably going to bring 2 laptops (work and personal) and 2 cellphones (work and personal) and their assorted cables and accessories.
Do I want to deal with the hassle of it (i.e. antennas, programming/control cable, charger, external microphone, etc…) or do I just want to use Echolink and call it that?
I am not sure if I am going to really have any freetime or if I am going to be saddled with boredom. I could also video chat the family and play WoW in the evening too. I will have to ponder more and see what will fit in the carryon.
